Poison Ivy/Oak:
Timeline and Strategy
Spring Grazing: goats strip plant of its leaves during its first growth
Summer Grazing: return the goats once the plant grows new leaves
Multi-Year process will depend on the plants root system to fully eradicate the root system.
Multiflora Rose:
Eradication Timeline
Season One: 2-3 grazings to initially shock the plant. Stripping it of its leaves and thorny steams to pull energy from roots.
Season Two: 2 to 3 grazings to deplete the plants' energy reserves. Doing this for two consecutive years will kill off the smaller, weaker plants.
Seasons 3 & 4: Large thickets can take up to 4 seasons of grazing.
